We looked back at streetwear history and found Shawn Stussy as the original streetwear designer. He was a local surfer from Laguna Beach. His logo was translated into T-shirts, which became immediately popular. It was considered an underground fashion, as it was developed in response to the bold colors of catchy styles. This new style was popularized in the 80's.

Street art was an innovative style that the Japanese brought to the forefront. Designers started designing unique designs. Designers created unique designs by utilizing their brighter inspirations. Streetwear's moment with its monogrammed printed, pop colors and irreverent attitude has been built around the idea of mass communication and specialized promotion.

Fashion has proven to be fiercely independent and managed to burst outside of the reach corporate dollars. The economic side of the fashion industry has seen it explode into a high quality, high priced clothing industry. Y2k Fashion

The fashion industry has seen a global spread of styles. The UK's fashion industry, which is highly regarded worldwide, is known for its creativity, talent, speed, and strong mix between casual and smart dressing.

These items, which include original sunglasses and bags of high quality, are breaking fashion rules.

As the market has evolved, more female-oriented brands such as MbyM and Gentle Fawn have started to produce clothing for women. Previously, brands that primarily targeted the male market were more common. Many people are able to find brands that aren't even heavily promoted, which is what has created the streetwear clothing culture we have today.
