Motivational speaker Sean Stephenson might be three feet tall, but place a microphone in the hand and he turns into a giant. Born with osteogenesis imperfecta, which stunts growth and causes bones to interrupt under minimal pressure, Stephenson has faced several challenges and overcome many obstacles on his road to becoming a successful author, respected psychotherapist, and popular motivational speaker.

Before his 18th birthday, Stephenson had survived 200 bone fractures. Confronted with the mental choice of accepting his disorder as either a gift or perhaps a burden, Stephenson found an inner strength to focus on what he could do rather than what he couldn't. Following his graduation from DePaul University, he began in Washington, DC for Congressman William O. Lipinski and interned for President Clinton. He later was a board certified clinical psychotherapist and has helped countless patients with breakthrough "immersion" therapy, an intense 12-hour session designed to transform an individual's life. His best-selling book, Get Off Your "BUT," provides practical and compelling suggestions about overcoming self-doubt in all areas of life, from finances and friendship to dating and weight reduction.

Stephenson has appeared on Oprah, Jimmy Kimmel Live, CNN, Discovery Health, WGN, and CBS News. A one-hour special chronicling his daily life, 3 Foot Giant, aired in '09 on BIO. Stephenson has starred in a fitness video featuring Mr. Olympia and recently achieved his lifelong imagine wasting the first pitch at a White Sox game. He proudly proclaims, "I've lived the life span of a rock star."

A motivational speaker since the age of 17, Stephenson has addressed audiences all over the world. He also discusses leadership development and the way to move beyond communication to really "connect" with others. With a mission to defeat insecurity and encourage people to maximize their potential for success, Stephenson's powerful charisma and inspiring story can help everyone stand up for their dreams.
