If you are are searching for a different idea, name a star in the galaxy as a gift and become hit! Have you given all the standard gifts - chocolates, flowers, etc.? Do you want for any really unique type gift? If so, then name a star in the galaxy for that particular someone as a gift. I bet they will not obtain a duplicate!
I think naming a star is a superb gift for almost anyone. If you are looking for any gift for any grandparent, wouldn't they obtain a kick out of having a star named for them? It's sometimes difficult to upgrade on grandparents because, by their age, they probably have everything they need or want. This would be a gift they can remember and check out again and again.
A parent or gaurdian would like it too. It's not everyday that you will get a star named after you. Either a mom or dad would think that is a pretty cool gift.
What about a child? Consider how their eyes will light up once they find out there is a star in the galaxy named just for them. Plus they can show all their friends. They will feel so important. They will have certificates they can even bring to school and show off.
A personal star constitutes a great romantic gift for that special someone. Furthermore romantic than gazing up in the stars together, especially if there's one up there only for them?
Naming a star for somebody is one of those "unnecessary" but "fun" gifts. It says, "Hey, I think you're special enough to have your own star."
